Set in a 150-year-old East Javanese teak joglo, or wooden house, Biku is a restaurant and tea lounge serving up high tea and a range of Indonesian and Western fare. 3. Teatro Gastroteque
Focusing on French cuisine with an Asian spin, Teatro Gastroteque is a stylish fine dining restaurant offering prix fixe menus ranging from six to 10 courses. 4. Kilo Bali
Run by the same folks behind Kilo Kallang, Kilo Lounge and Camp Kilo in Singapore, this Bali outpost showcases an eclectic menu of Asian and Western dishes such as banh mi (Vietnamese style sandwiches), avocado toast, and tacos. We recommend the Balinese pork rice bowl, which is topped with a scrumptious and hearty mix of tender barbecued pork, sausage, sambal matah (a raw sambal of shallots, chilli and lemongrass), crunchy pork crackling, and a runny egg.
